People skills

Team work and communication are an integral part of the technical training courses outlined above. They are used during the training, and are vital for successful application afterwards. When people skills are the key area for change, as happens on some Total Quality programmes, training which centres primarily on this aspect is preferable.

Short courses are available on brainstorming, team working and effective meetings. They are often included with technical training.

Courses and workshops for in-house specialists who support other staff on technical matters are also available. These cover subjects such as team building, facilitating and being an internal consultant
